Broken Torso sets the female form against the raw texture of aged wood. The human against the natural. The smooth against the fractured.

The wood is the foundation we are each born into — the circumstances we inherit and do not choose. The figure is split, broken, imperfect. The beauty comes through the flaws, not despite them.

The cracks are not damage to be hidden. They are the record of resilience.
